Seems like when the sun sets that I have more focus, possibly because I cannot see distractions beyond my windowpane. I have the unfortunate feeling that if I were closed into a room without windows (oh god, that's what my last job in the US was), that I'd be able to snap into morning writing. I may buy a blackout blind to try it out... Of course, I know I've always been a bit quicker to life first thing in the morning than you, so - as they say - your mileage may vary...
